What you start off reading, this book about feral cats, quickly becomes a murder-thriller. Putting the pieces together while you are reading is a lot of fun.I never did pinpoint the right person, but that was good. It kept me in suspense throughout the entire book.
I wasn't so sure when I first starting reading it if the cats would be enough to keep my attention, but they did. They even started to intrigue me.
I appreciate how the author wove the two stories of Claire and Serena together. There were a couple small moments of confusion for me in the beginning, but it didn't last.
I won this book during Armchair BEA week and I chose this book because I had heard great things about the author and her stories. I'm so glad I chose it for my introduction to her writing. With reading Feral, I wasn't disappointed. It's my kind of scary. I can't wait to read more from her now.
