Lord Fenton's Folly - Josi S. Kilpack
Surprisingly good.
I started off this book thinking it probably wasn't for me, but my love for the author had me reading anyway.
By 53%, I was wishing the two main characters, the ones you see on the cover, would grow up and get on with it already. At 55% in the book, I knew why I kept reading. The story just became epic. Was it the ailing mother with all the secrets? Or the lovers not loving? I don't know, but I was into it. Boy, I'm glad for that too.
I'm also glad the power couple finally stopped bickering. That was a rough first half... lol... in the end it was worth it though. I could do with some more, now that it's over.
