What a delightful story! This coming from someone who isn't into sci-fi much... but this story is great! It has digitally animated photos to accompany this galactic adventure. They bring the story to life, when you see the scene played out.
Aoléon is a groovy martian. I love the dynamic between her and Gilbert. She is very mischievous but a lot of fun too.
That's the kind of stuff the kids love and keep glued to. The parents will like the book too, but they are more happy with the assurance their children are reading age-appropriate adventures. These will excite and not frighten.
I actually look forward to the second part. What will happen now Gilbert has left Earth?
