To the point.
I appreciate the turnaround of the story. I had to wonder about Madame Leveau, and what her intentions were. I was happy nothing happened as I thought it would. For most of the story I didn't like Emy. She needed a wake-up call, and eventually she got it, though not how you would think.
Teen girls should read this short story. It shows them you need to be an independent girl and not let some boy run your world, but in the most clever of ways.
Great writing for such a short story. Little things really do have more impact.
