Cynthia Starts A Band - Olivia Swindler

— feeling booklikes
The story as a whole was good.
It's a story about a woman who is used in a twisted way, and abused by people she is supposed to be able to trust. She has a moment of clarity, and runs.
The end of the book was my favorite part. It had a positive flow, and I really dug how it came together.
The beginning was mildly confusing in parts, more the transitioning of the story. I get it is told in viewpoints, but maybe they didn't transition as I had hoped. It did get better though.
For a debut novel, it was a decent. It kept me reading to know what would happen to Eleanor/Cynthia. I look forward to the next book the author writes.
