A funny tale!
I love this graphic novel about Nimona. She's mischievous that's for certain, but bad? I doubt it. Crazy thing is the villain, Ballister Blackheart, isn't all that bad either. Oh, he does try though.
I love the wit in this story. I laughed out loud a couple of times. The tale flowed pretty easily that the book can be finished in like an hour.
The illustrations are neat, but the fighting scenes all felt a little Picasso-ish for me. You'd see clear people and then flames and dragon scenes kinda blended together. Still it wasn't anything to balk at. Just like Picasso, you may not always get it but there's something there.
If you like graphic novels and a bit of quirky adventure, give it a shot.
