Idiot's Guide Slow Cooker Cooking

I love this book, and let me stress that you do not need to be an idiot to enjoy it. Using that term just means it is illustrated and fully detailed on each recipe and how to make them.
I first tried the Boston Baked Beans recipe and it was so good that we ate it all before I remembered I needed a photo, so I chose another recipe to check out.

I chose this recipe because Fall is in the air and pumpkin is on the brain. Mix breakfast foods and pumpkin together and you can't go wrong! So Pumpkin French Toast Casserole it was. Man, it was delicious too! My only criticism is I like some pan sear crust on my french toast, and with the slow cooker you will never get that crispy crust you look for. So while I enjoyed it, I think I will stick to french toast in the pan.
I can't wait to do more, and frankly, make the beans again. They were AMAZEBALLS!
Definitely a great choice in the Idiot's Guide collection!
